We have enjoyed this little delicacy in the garden for several years. It spreads easily, and has very sweet berries with hints of vanilla.

Cultivar
Several forms of white field strawberry with runners are in circulation, and presumably, there is also development via seed propagation happening. This could be ‘Illa Martin‘ or ‘Gartenfreude’.
Accession
We have this from a nursery in Tvedestrand, who got it from a Swedish tourist many years ago.
