Mojito mint (variant 2)
kr 99,00 – kr 159,00 inkl.mva
Strong and sweet mint. A classic for tea and in fresh drinks.
Description
Cultivar
Compared to the one we call variant 1, which is of a different origin, this variant 2 is somewhat more open in growth with slightly thinner leaves and a slightly rounder and fresher taste. But these are small nuances, and taste is difficult to describe, so feel free to try both!
Species
Mentha x villosa Huds.
Mojito mint, also called Cuban or Moroccan mint, is probably found in many different varieties since it is anyway a hybrid between M. spicata x M. suaveolens. Strong and sweet mint. A classic for tea and in fresh drinks.
Genus
There are more than 2,000 named hybrids between various combinations of the roughly 20 species in the mint genus. Since the species interbreed so easily, new combinations will emerge in gardens multiple species and hybrids. This has led to a situation with a lot of conflicting information about names and which species are included.
