Bi-O’s basic business is the marketing and sale of products and services that naturally belong to the focus of food safety and food sovereignty, but we also work with “initiation, operation and financing of collaborative projects and legal entities” (from the articles of association).
On these pages you can read about what we are involved in autumn 2023 at the time of the spin-off of the agricultural business to Bi-O Agro AS and the start-up of the new Bi-O AS. These are projects in various stages, which will eventually take the form of new products and services, new websites or even new organizational units.

Project for the creation of a high-quality global encyclopedia on all useful species and their varieties (cultivars, breeds and strains)

Project for a toolbox for growers, especially at the grassroots level, as well as a platform for the exchange of propagation material.
Langjordet omstilling
A proposal for the development of a conversion project in the north of Maridalen under the auspices of Bi-O Agro and Bi-Omstilling.
Nordskokk
Breeding of new sunchoke varieties for polar regions, together with the artists in Lavangsnes Wunderkammer.
